Question. How do I book a place on a tour?
Use the application form fill in your details including  Credit Card Details to confirm your booking intention. Your Credit card will not be liable to be charged till we have confirmed with you that we have availability for you on your preferred tour date.

Question. How many persons are on these tours?
Normally 14 persons to 18 persons maximum.

Question. There are are only two us. Can we go on the tour or do we have to have a group of people to go. Yes individulas or any number can book on the tour.

Question. When do I pay for the Tour I want to Book?
We hold your credit card as security and charge you on the day of the Tour.

Question. I want to pay by cash on the day of the tour. Can I do this and not use a credit card?
We require your credit card details as a guarantee. You can tell us that you want to pay by cash on the day and we will not charge your card.

Question. I want to go tomorrow and I need an urgent reply? What can I do?
 In this case ring us on the toll free number of 1800 011 103 for a free call or you may prefer to ring on 89201151, a local Sydney Number, and from overseas ring 61 2 89201151 for immediate connection to the booking desk. Office Hours 6.00am to 8.00pm

 In this case email us with your queries and we will respond as soon as possible within 24 hours.

Question.  We want to book the tour. How do we join the bus?
When you book we require the details of your hotel where you are staying and then arrange a pickup time for you somewhere in the city to suit you. i.e. McDonlds at Circular Quay.

Question.  We want to book the tour but we are not in a hotel.  How do we join the bus?
Alternatively if you are not in a city hotel, but you live in Sydney or the suburbs we have some fixed locations where we will meet you. They  are;

  1. McDonalds Circular Quay at 7.25am
  2. YHA corner of Pitt Street and Rawson Place, opposite Central station, at 7.00am
  3. Hilton Hotel (Pitt St Entrance) opposite the bus terminal at the Queen Victoria Building.
  4. Starbucks Coffee Shop  York Street (on the corner of Margaret Street) next to Wynyard Station.

Question. What do I do if I want to cancel the tour I have booked on?
Yes, you can but this must be done at least 24-48 hours prior to the time the tour departs. If you cancel within 48 hours a 50% canellation fee applies, for cancellations made within 24 hours a 100% cancellation fee applies. Special circumstances may be considered.

Question. Is the Bus air conditioned and equipped with seat belts?
Yes.

Question. Can I change the date of the tour I have booked on?
Yes, you can subject to at least 24 hours notice of a change and subject to availability on the new date that you request.

FAQs specific to Blue Mountains Day tours

What happens if it rains?
The tour will still go ahead and many on the walks we do are still accessible. Its is a great day on a wet day as the smell of the forests is magical. There are a number of other activities we include in wet weather. Just ring us for discussion on weather.

How long do we stay at the Wildlife Park?
About 50 minutes
